Ok, I think it’s time I made one of these. Welcome to my blog and I hope all of you feel welcome.

I am referred to as Starlight Emiko, but you may call me Emiko. Another moniker I go by is “Vixen” Or at least I am trying to work on that becoming a thing.

I am demisexual and pan-romantic and go by she/her pronouns. I am 29 and I am half Filipino and half Italian.

My entire blog has been a hodge-podge since 2013. I reblog various things like Disney/Dreamworks, animation in general, magical girl anime, cartoons, Studio Ghibli, positivity, spirituality, Nintendo games, nature, pictures of the sky, pride, animals, and stars! Lots and lots of stars!

I guess you can say my main fandom is M*raculous L*dybug but I am super careful about who I let in…Not to mention I think this show is objectively bad and I am mostly only here for Lukanette. Honestly, I like to pretend anything past season 3 doesn’t exist.

Yeah just to note my blog is pro Marinette, pro Lukanete, pro Luka, pro Kagami, and pro Adrigami.

I guess another fandom I am a part of is the Avatar fandom. I won’t say I am “anti” this or “anti that” in this about me because that sounds too hostile but just note my blog is also pro Aang, pro Mai, pro Kataang, and pro Maiko…Please be civil!

Yes, my blog will have a bit of discourse and salt. I will tag salt and discourse so I don’t want anyone to complain about negativity. I tag my stuff.

To Sheila is a song I first heard this November while re-exploring The Smashing Pumpkins’ discography. Adore was one of the few album of theirs which I had not listened to up until now, and I regret not checking it out earlier - it’s easily (next to Mellon Collie) my favourite album of theirs, with beautifully haunting vocals and a gorgeous selection of tracks.

Winter is the best time to listen to this song, with a nostalgic, melancholic atmosphere created from gentle acoustic guitar backed by soft electronics and piano. I’d suggest listening to this in your room at night or as the sun sets with a warm drink and a book.
